Me and My Daddy

Jace, one of your favorite things to do is to have daddy hold you up high in the air. It is the cutest thing ever and it makes you laugh so hard. Daddy loves to do this with you too. You guys have so much fun playing. As soon as daddy walks in the door from work, you hear his voice and you smile so big. He plays with you while mommy finishes dinner. This is daddy's special time with you. Even if you are in a cranky mood, he can make you smile and laugh. It melts my heart to see you and your daddy play like this together. You guys have a special bond already. When you get older, I know you will be "buds."

Playtime is so much Fun!

One of your favorite things to do lately is lay on your blanket and play. Mommy puts your toys around you and you just go at it. You discovered your feet and love to pull your legs up and grab hold of your toes. Mommy got out your discovery gym again and you loved it so much. Jace, mommy can't tell you how special it is to get to spend everyday with you. We have so much fun playing together. You've become my little buddy and I don't know what I would do without you. I love you, precious!

All My Toys

Jace, you love for mommy to pull out all your toys for you to play with in your room. You can keep your self entertained for hours with them. (Well, maybe not hours, but it sure seems like a long time to mommy.) Mommy can't resist going in and playing with you though. So, usually every afternoon, we have this play time together in your room. A new toy you have discovered is your mailbox. It has a ball at the bottom that you love to roll with your little hands. You stare at this forever! You also love your crawl and move ball that Aunt Sara got you for Christmas. You laugh at all the sounds it makes. This is such a special time that I had to make an entry about it and post some pictures. Thanks for making playtime so much fun! I love you handsome man!

A Perfect Day for the Park

This week has been spring break and what a fun week we've had. It's been kinda nice being able to take a break from our weekly schedule and enjoy doing some different things. Jace, you enjoyed going to Little Gym camp two days this week. You LOVE the Little Gym, so I knew you would enjoy getting to go for three hours instead of your usual one. You got to play, do arts and crafts, have snack, and play some more. Jerod, you enjoyed your alone time with mommy and playing in the gym nursery. We also had swim lessons this week, which you both love. You guys are becoming quite the swimmers. There's also been lots of playtime with friends this week. Today, we got out and enjoyed this beautiful weather we are having. Dana, Whitne, Dawn, and myself took the kids to a very fun park for a picnic and to play. They had the best time! It's been a great week, but mommy is tired and ready to get back to normal next week. Boys, mommy loves her days with you! I wouldn't trade them for anything!!
