Candlelight Run
Family Run and 5K
Saturday night, we participated in the Candlelight Charity Run. We did the 1mile fun run/walk together as a family, and daddy did the 5K run. Jace, you were very excited about running with daddy. You did a great job and ran much of the one mile. Jerod, you got into the race too. You had a great time running and riding in the jogger stroller. It gave me chills running together as a family. I saw the future for a moment....the whole family running a 5K together when the boys are older. Your mommy used to be big into running races, and this definitely got me motivated to get back into it. After our family run, daddy ran the 5K race. There were about 2,000 runners making it the biggest 5K race in the upstate. He did an amazing job and completed the run in a great time. We were at the finish line to cheer him on. We are so proud of him! Way to go, daddy! This is definitely a family event we plan to do every year as long as we live here in SC.
